| Rex Schultz is serving in his first year as Head Golf Professional at Esmeralda but he is no stranger to the facility. Rex is a Spokane native who played his junior golf at Esmeralda. After graduating from Rogers High School in Northeast Spokane, he went on to play golf at Washington State University. Following graduation, Rex returned to Esmeralda and began his career as a Golf Professional.
During his years at Esmeralda, Rex has been active in promoting junior golf and introduced the game thousands of kids over the years. In 2002, he received recognition as the Inland Empire Professional Golfer’s Association’s Junior Golf Leader. Rex has also been active in the governance of the P.G.A. and has served in each elective office available in the Inland Empire Chapter culminating in serving as President in 2003 and 2004.
