Rex Schultz  Email
Rex Schultz is serving in his first year as Head Golf Professional at Esmeralda but he is no stranger to the facility. Rex is a Spokane native who played his junior golf at Esmeralda. After graduating from Rogers High School in Northeast Spokane, he went on to play golf at Washington State University. Following graduation, Rex returned to Esmeralda and began his career as a Golf Professional.

During his years at Esmeralda, Rex has been active in promoting junior golf and introduced the game thousands of kids over the years. In 2002, he received recognition as the Inland Empire Professional Golfer’s Association’s Junior Golf Leader. Rex has also been active in the governance of the P.G.A. and has served in each elective office available in the Inland Empire Chapter culminating in serving as President in 2003 and 2004. Rex was awarded the Inland Empire Golf Professional of the Year Award for 2003.

Steve Conner  Email
Born and raised in Omak, WA Steve Conner moved to Spokane to attend Whitworth College and play on the golf team. He graduated from Whitworth with a degree in Business Management. He started his golf career shortly after graduation at Spokane Country Club. Following a year at the Country Club Steve continued his career at Indian Canyon Golf Course. He left Indian Canyon for the opportunity to help open the Coeur d’ Alene Resort Golf Course. Following a year at the Resort Steve returned to Indian Canyon before becoming the Head Professional at Downriver Golf Course where he is currently in his 13th season. Steve has previously served on the Inland Empire PGA Board of Directors, as well as Chairman of the Inland Empire PGA tournament committee. He is currently serving another term on the Tournament Committee of the Inland Empire PGA. Steve is married with 3 daughters.


Mark A. Gardner  Email
Mark A. Gardner has the been the Head Professional at The Creek at Qualchan for the past 12 years. Mark was born, raised and started his golf career in Spokane. He has been a part of golf in Spokane for 35 years. He served as Inland Empire PGA President for 2 terms. He has served on the Pacific NW PGA Board of Directors for 8 years and is currently serving as the Tournament Chairman for the Pacific NW PGA. He has been chosen as Professional of the Year in the Inland Empire PGA five (5) times and has won the Player of the Year honors six (6) times.


Gary Lindeblad  Email
Gary Lindeblad started at Indian Canyon on Jan. 1, 1985 after spending 12 years at Liberty Lake Golf Course in Spokane.

He graduated from North Central High School in Spokane and continued his education at Eastern Washington University, graduating with a B.A. in accounting in 1972. Gary has been a golf professional for 33 years.

He has received over 40 Inland Empire Chapter and Pacific Northwest Section awards for his service to the PGA, golf instruction and junior golf. Gary has played on 11 PNWPGA Section Hudson Cup teams, was the captain in 2004 and has won numerous chapter and section titles. In 1995, Gary was named Golf Business Magazines, "Golf Professional of the Year."
